How to Attack Using a Witch - Clash of Clans

The Witch is one of the latest additions to the Clash of Clans troop lineup. Possessing a Witch can significantly bolster your attack, particularly against formidable Town Halls. I will offer tips for deploying the Witch both offensively and defensively. But first, let's discuss some crucial details about the Witch.

Every veteran player of COC is familiar with the Witch! In this article, I aim to delve into everything about the Witch. Later, I will offer some strategies on how to effectively utilize the Witch. To begin with, the Witch is recognized as one of the most formidable troops in offense. She summons a horde of skeletons to shield her. These skeletons don't carry bombs like Wall Breakers or Balloons; instead, they wield swords similar to Barbarians during an assault. It is believed that these are Barbarian warriors who perished in past conflicts and have been resurrected by the Witch.

Some things you need to know about Witch

• Witches are one of the powerful troops in Clash of Clans. You can summon her if your Dark Barrack is level 5 in TH 9.
• He had short purple hair and 2 gold pieces on his shoulders, he also wore a gold belt. And wears a goat skull on the top of his staff.
• The witch summons skulls from the ground. Many players use the witch and her skulls as support troops instead of main troops. They can easily get 3 stars with the GOWiWi combination for example.
• Her favourite targets are any units that are closest to her. If there are moving targets such as the barbarian king or archer queen, the witch will kill them first and then destroy nearby buildings.
•  The highest level of witches to date is still at level 7

Ability or How a Witch Works

• Witch is a strong troop, especially when she is at the highest level, level 7. This witch can summon troops from the grave to help attack. These troops are known as skeletons. By removing this skeleton, Witch can be protected by this skeleton army.
• Witch has short purple hair that goes down to her shoulders. She wears two gold shoulder pieces, a gold belt, and a tattered skirt. She also wears a tattered purple robe and holds a staff with a goat skull.
• Witches do not have a preferred target when attacking. They will attack the building closest to them. If there are contents of an enemy Clan Castle, then this Witch will attack the contents of the Clan Castle first, and then attack the building closest to her.
• At 7th level, the Witch has a diamond crown. Her dress is smooth and has no holes. Her wand has a red-coloured diamond on top.

 

Attack Strategy with WITCH

If you are still confused about using Witch you can read this one, I will share the right strategy in attacking using witch:

1. Due to their low HP, which is only 75HP for a level 1 witch, many players utilize them in a support role and position them behind other troops. It's advisable to do the same. There's no need to cluster them closely, as defense buildings can eliminate them swiftly.
2. When attacking, you can field a Giant/Golem and some Wall Breakers because the giant can act as a shield and the Wall Breakers will flatten the walls that block the witch's path later.
3. Be careful with mortars, because your witch will die in one attack if hit by a mortar. You can use Lightning Spell to destroy the mortar. So that the witch can live longer.
4. If you find a witch in an enemy Clan Castle, you can at least use a poison spell, or Lightning Spell to kill her, as the skull will quickly come out of the ground.
5. When you decide to attack with this Witch, you should place it at the back or last. You can release the Witch behind the Golem or Pekka. Watch out for the mortar and wizard tower as they can kill your Witch in one hit.

 

Attack steps using Witch

1. First, drop some Giants to distract the enemy's Defense building. Then you can use wallbreakers to destroy the walls that will block the Witch's path later. After that, drop 3-5 Witches to attack the buildings. Witch will release a lot of skeletons so that the enemy defense building will be confused and split its concentration.
2. Second, you can replace the Giant with 2-3 Golems. The function of Golem is the same as Giant, which is to fortify the attack in front / distraction.
3. Third, pay attention to the mortar or wizard tower. If your witch is being attacked by these two defense buildings immediately drop a healing spell to restore their HP.
4. If you have a Lightning Spell, you can use it to destroy the mortar in your initial attack.
5. You can use Spell poison to kill the contents of the enemy Clan Castle so that your Witch is not disturbed in attacking.
6. The most effective Dark Spell to combine with Witch is EarthQuake Spell, you can use this Earthquake Spell to destroy walls that block the Witch's path. You need 4 earthquake spells.

Survive with Witch level 7

• If you decide to place a Witch in the contents of your Clan Castle, you can place it in the center and protected by several layers of walls, so that it is not easy to lure out.
• By releasing Skeleton, this Witch will distract Pekka from attacking. Witch also has the ability to easily destroy Pekka.
• The best combination to fill Clan Castle is with a Giant or balloon. With the same speed, the Giant will work alongside the skeleton to defend.
