The Crow and The Eagle
One day, in a forest on the mountainside, a crow was searching for food. This crow had a son named Giga, who was very cheerful and persistent. Giga would always accompany his parents and assist in the search for food.
The next day, Giga's mother went out to look for food, Giga who was still asleep suddenly woke up.
"Where are you going?" asked Giga.
"I want to find food for our family," replied mother crow.
"I come, mum. I want to find my favorite worm" Giga pleaded.
"Yes son, but you have to stay alert, don't stay away from mum" said mother crow.
"Alright, mum" Giga replied.
That morning, they flew to the east, they went down from the rice fields to look for rice rats. Giga cleverly got a lot of rice worms. But suddenly from above there was an eagle who was also looking for food, the eagle was famous for often snatching crow food. When the crow wanted to pounce on a mouse, the eagle suddenly called out to him from above.
"Hey Eagle, why do you like to snatch my food?" the Crow snapped.
"You're very slow Crow, first come, first served" mocked the Eagle.
"Why don't you find your own food, you bully," said the Crow.
Meanwhile, Giga, who saw that his mother was upset with the eagle, suddenly flew up and then came down to snatch the mouse back from the eagle's hand.
"Hey, crow boy. What are you doing, give me back my food?" the Eagle shouted.
"I just took back this food from my mum, I didn't steal it from you!" said Giga.
"You little crow, give it back quickly!" said the Eagle, looking angry.
"No, this is ours, you were looking for it and you had it stolen from you" replied Giga.
The Crow's mother was silent, she was very proud to have such a brave and clever son. The Eagle, who was beginning to look annoyed, seemed to be getting ready to attack the Crow.
"I'm not afraid of you, as long as we're right!" said Giga.
"Alright if that's what you want, now taste my vengeance!" Giga shouted.
Suddenly the mother crow interrupted, not wanting her son to get into trouble, the mother crow immediately blocked.
"Aren't you ashamed, eagle, to dare to be with a child?" mocked mother crow.
"If you're brave, face me," added mother crow.
"You two come forward, I'm not afraid," said the Eagle.
As the eagle was getting ready to attack Giga and his mother, suddenly a group of crows flew past them and stopped.
"Eagle, are you causing trouble again?" asked one of the crows.
The eagle just fell silent and ran away because of fear, Giga and his mother were relieved that the eagle had left.
"Thank you for your help," said mother crow.
"You're welcome, your son was brave enough to fight the eagle. I salute him" replied one of the crows.
"Thank you, uncle. Giga is brave if it is right. That's what mum taught me," said Giga.
Finally, the group of crows said goodbye to continue their journey. Giga and his mother flew back to their home. Mum is very proud that Giga has now grown up to be a child who is brave in truth and clever.
The Life Lesson: "Truth must be fought for earnestly. Otherwise, the truth will be defeated by falsehood."
